We're All Winging This TogetherThe health and well-being of our visitors, staff, and volunteers is always our highest priority. In an effort to help protect our community, we are following recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as state and local governments. At this time, The John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove is temporarily closed. However, our grounds and outdoor trails will remain open from dawn to dusk.
Now more than ever, nature can provide us with respite and soothing experiences. We encourage you to visit the park and enjoy some fresh air and nature - and to be safe and healthy. While social distancing is key, the CDC is still encouraging outdoor interaction, but while maintaining a safe 6 ft. minimal distance from other people. We will continue to monitor this situation closely and take precautions wherever possible.
If you have registered for a program, tour, or other event in the coming weeks, we will be in contact with you regarding your options for rescheduling or refunds. We sincerely apologize for having to postpone and cancel events at this time, but we appreciate your understanding.
We also want to let our audience know that we are still taking great care of our resident birds during this time. Our passionate and committed volunteers and staff will be on rotating schedules to make sure our birds receive the food and engagement they need. If you would like to support the care of our feathered friends at this time, please visit our donation page.
Thank you all for your continued support. We will be posting updates about other programs and special events on our website and Facebook page as conditions warrant. We look forward to seeing you vibrant and healthy once this crisis has come to an end.
