The John James Audubon Center relies on the generosity of donors to provide the funds necessary to support our programs. While the Center is legally a part of the national organization and shares the national mission and its policies, we are mandated to establish local conservation and education programs and independently pursue local funding to support these efforts. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The John James Audubon Center is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals, families, businesses and organizations to commemorate an occasion or celebrate a special person or pet and be a part of history. Personalized rocking chairs, benches and bricks can now be purchased for placement at Mill grove. Your support helps us build the resources needed to preserve the legacy of America’s most celebrated bird artist.

Hand-crafted sustainable teak rocking chairs and benches include engraved metal plaque. Rocking chairs and will be located on the porch of the Historic House; benches will be placed within the new Center and surrounding grounds. Engraved message available: 3 lines, 24 characters per line, including spaces and punctuation

• Rocking Chair: $800
• Bench: $1,500

• Bricks:
Will be located in Meadow Overlook adjacent to new Center for Art and Conservation (installed 2018).

• 4” x 8”: $150   Engraved message, 3 lines, 18 total characters per line, including spaces and punctuation
• 8” x 8”: $250   Engraved message, 5 lines, 18 total characters per line, including spaces and punctuation
• Mini keepsake brick: $50

The John James Audubon Center partners with local corporations in a variety of ways.

• Employee Engagement – Throughout the year there are opportunities for employees to experience hands-on projects, for groups from 15 – 100 people.
• Corporate sponsorships of our major public events:  April Annual Juried Art Show “Drawn from Nature”, Canoe with Perks guided canoe trips
• Naming Opportunities for exhibits and rooms the John James Audubon Center for Art and Conservation, opening 2019.
