Single Day Camps at the John James Audubon Center

Come explore the world of Nature in these themed one-day summer camps! Have your child spend the day learning about animals and their habitats in a fun, creative and interesting way. Each of the days has a different theme, so you can sign up for more than one! The camps are geared for 6-10 year olds, and last from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Outdoor Art Adventures: July 13th

$40 for members, $50 for non-members

Let’s learn all about nature artists, and artists in nature! Discover those who dedicated their lives to illustrating animals in the wild, and create your own works of art. We will also delve into the world of bird song and discover the many ways birds communicate.

Fur, Feathers, Skin, and Scales: July 26th

$40 for members, $50 for non-members

Explore animal adaptations of all types, from body coverings to interesting behaviors. Campers will learn about animals great and small, and the superpowers they have that help them survive.

Nature Detectives: August 11th

$40 for members, $50 for non-members

During this week, we will explore clues in nature to discover who lives there, and how they use the environment around them. We will also learn about certain animals that pretend to be someone else!

Animal Architects: August 22nd

$40 for members, $50 for non-members

Everything needs a place to live. We will learn about animal homes, how they are built, and the interesting ways they are used and reused. We also will make a bird feeder out of recycled items to put up where you live.
